Job summary

10 Wilmington Place in Kettering, OH is seeking a reliable dishwasher to sort, wash, and store dishes, pots, and utensils in the main kitchen. You will load and unload the dish machine, follow cleaning schedules, and assist serving staff as needed.

You will keep floors clean and dry, empty trash, polish stainless steel, and help with meal service in Meadows Dining room and Grand Oaks while following supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sorts, scrapes and stacks dishes, silverware and glassware as they are brought to the dish machine.
• Load dishes into the dish machine and unloads after washing, checking to be sure all items have been thoroughly cleaned.
• Washes and stores pots, pans and cooking utensils.
• Keeps kitchen floors swept clean and dry. Cleans spills immediately.
• Scrubs floors and cleans walk-in refrigerator daily.
• Breaks down boxes and disposes of all trash.
• Follows weekly and monthly cleaning schedules as directed for the main kitchen area.
• Attends departmental staff meetings and scheduled in-service meetings.
• Cleans employee break room at the end of the shift. Sweep floor and wipe off table. Mops floor weekly.
• Polishes all stainless steel refrigerators weekly.
• Follows instructions of supervisor and checks with supervisor when leaving the work areas.
• Clean carts and tray stands weekly.
• Assists serving staff in Meadows Dining room and Grand Oaks as needed.
