Era Living is hiring a full-time Dishwasher at the University House Issaquah Community in Issaquah, WA. Shifts are Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a competitive benefits package and free meals and onsite parking.

The Dishwasher will clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support stock needs while complying with sanitation and safety procedures. Prior dishwashing experience is preferred and a Food Handler’s Certificate may be required within 14

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates dish machine and cleans utensils, carts, and trays according to procedure.
• Maintains cleanliness of dishwashing area and logs temperatures daily.
• Delivers and retrieves resident meal carts and cleans tables as required.

Era Living is seeking a full-time Dishwasher to become the newest member of our Culinary Services Team located in our University House Issaquah Community, in Issaquah, WA. Available shifts will be scheduled Sunday - Thursday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cook supplies are properly cleaned. This position maintains the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and helps stock supplies.

• Operates dish machine following operating instructions, utensil machine washing and cleaning, including carts, trays, and placing clean items in designated storage areas
• Maintains the dish machine-washing areas, following sanitation and safety procedures. Properly records daily machine temperatures in appropriate logbooks following sanitation and safety procedures
• Delivers and retrieves Resident meal carts and busses and cleans tables as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to work weekends.
• Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
• Ability to pass DSHS background check, required

Education and Experience:

• Previous dishwashing experience and kitchen prep skills, preferred.
