Job summary

Brandon Wilde is seeking a Prep Cook/Dishwasher for our Culinary Services team in Issaquah, WA. The role includes kitchen duties in a fine dining space, with opportunities for professional growth and a $2,000 retention bonus.

Varied full-time PM schedule is available with a competitive hourly rate. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of prep cook and dishwasher experience, strong organizational skills, and a Food Handlers certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year as Prep Cook with Dishwasher responsibilities in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar
• Ability to plan and organize work, interpret recipes, specifications, and standards
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
• Food Handlers certification
• Basic understanding of English

General Summary

The Utility technician/Dishwasher performs several kitchen activities including pot washing, dishwashing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.

Essential Job Duties

• Maintains assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition.
• Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

Works indoors; must be able to stand/walk for 100% of the workday; must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. independently; must be able to push and pull bus carts and tray carts weighing up to 100 lbs. independently; must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and balance frequently throughout the workday. Must be able to perform sweeping/mopping functions with ease. May be exposed to quick variance of hot and cold temperatures from ovens and freezers. May be exposed to industrial cleaning chemicals and to hot water temperatures regularly.
