Job summary

Era Living is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to join our Culinary Services Team at University House Wallingford in Seattle, WA. Shifts are scheduled Tuesday-Wednesday, 2:30PM to 11:00PM, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, delivering and cleaning resident meal carts, and maintaining sanitation and safety in the washing area. Candidates should have Food Handler’s certification or obtain within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience in dishwashing or kitchen prep preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Food Handler’s Certificate or ability to obtain within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates dish machine and cleans utensils, carts, trays, and storage areas.
• Delivers and retrieves resident meal carts and buses and cleans tables as required.
• Maintains dish-washing areas and logs daily machine temperatures per sanitation procedures.

Era Living is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to become the newest member of our Culinary Services Team located in our University House Wallingford Community, in Seattle, WA. Available shifts will be scheduled Tuesday-Wednesday, 2:30PM to 11:00PM.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operates dish machine following operating instructions, utensil machine washing and cleaning, including carts, trays, and placing clean items in designated storage areas
• Delivers and retrieves Resident meal carts and busses and cleans tables as required
• Maintains the dish machine-washing areas, following sanitation and safety procedures. Properly records daily machine temperatures in appropriate logbooks following sanitation and safety procedures

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to work weekends.
• Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
• Ability to pass DSHS background check, required

Education and Experience:

• Previous dishwashing experience and kitchen prep skills, preferred.
