Willows Event Center is seeking a reliable Part-Time Event Dishwasher to support our kitchen during events. This role emphasizes cleanliness, sanitation, and organization for back-of-house operations.

Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing dishes, maintaining the dishwashing area, and assisting with general kitchen tasks. Evening/weekend availability is required, and the role may involve lifting up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher or kitchen porter experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using both the 3-bowl manual sink system and the automatic dishwashing machine.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper storage of clean equipment.
• Take out garbage, recycling, and food waste in compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping floors, and wiping down surfaces.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and ensure proper sanitation before and after use.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in accordance with Department of Agriculture and internal standards.
• Support kitchen staff and event operations as needed.
