Job summary

Willow Valley Communities is seeking a Part-Time Dishwasher to support our Dining Services team at Lakeside, PA. You will help keep dishes and kitchen areas clean and organized, contributing to a welcoming dining experience for Residents.

No experience is required as we provide training; the role includes evening shifts, every other weekend, and some holidays, with a starting wage of $15/hour and weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Wash, scrub, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment by hand or using dish machines.
• Collect and transport soiled tableware to the dish room.
• Store clean and sanitized items properly.
• Deliver clean dishes and supplies to dining areas.
• Monitor dish machine temperatures and sanitizer levels.
• Clean and maintain the dish machine daily.
• Keep dish room, kitchen, storage areas, and walk-ins clean and safe.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Handle trash and recycling appropriately.
• Interact warmly with Residents and collaborate with team members.

What You'll Do

As a Dishwasher, you'll help keep our kitchen and dining operations running smoothly by ensuring dishes, utensils, and equipment are clean, sanitized, and ready for use. Your responsibilities will include:

• Washing, scrubbing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, silverware, and kitchen equipment by hand or using commercial dish machines
• Collecting and transporting soiled tableware to the dish room
• Properly storing clean and sanitized items
• Delivering clean dishes and supplies to dining areas
• Monitoring and recording dish machine temperatures and sanitizer levels
• Cleaning and maintaining the dish machine daily
• Keeping the dish room, kitchen, storage areas, and walk-in refrigerators clean, organized, and safe
• Completing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks
• Handling trash and recycling appropriately
• Interacting warmly and respectfully with Residents
• Collaborating positively with fellow team members
