Westmont Living, Inc. is hiring a Dishwasher to join our Encinitas team. This role focuses on keeping the kitchen clean, washing and restocking dishes, and helping with kitchen breakdown after meals. You will work in a caring senior living environment with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of major kitchen equipment and for washing, sanitizing, drying, and storing china, glass, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Transporting all dishes to the kitchen after meals.
• Clear, wash, sanitize, and restock dishes, silverware, and glassware.
• Wash pots, pans, and other utensils.
• Return dishes to storage areas.
• Break down kitchen for clean up.
• Meet sanitary and safety standards.

What we need from you:

• Ensure cleanliness of major kitchen equipment and for washing, sanitizing, drying, and storing china, glass, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils by:
• Transporting all dishes to the kitchen following meal preparation and mealtimes
• Properly clearing, washing, sanitizing, and restocking all dishes, silverware, and glassware
• Properly washing pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils
• Returning dishes and utensils to appropriate storage areas
• Breaking down kitchen for clean up
• Ensure all sanitary and safety standards are met
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
