Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our seniors-focused team at Westmont of La Mesa. The role emphasizes keeping all dishes, cookware, and utensils clean and properly stored, while maintaining strict sanitary and safety practices in a community setting.

Responsibilities include transporting dishes, clearing and washing, restocking, and assisting with kitchen breakdown after meals. Health screenings and Serv Safe certification are required or pursued within onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must pass all health screens (Physical, TB, Drug test)
• SERV Safe certified (Food-hander's)
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of major kitchen equipment and for washing, sanitizing, drying, and storing china, glass, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils
• Transporting all dishes to the kitchen following meal preparation and mealtimes
• Properly clearing, washing, sanitizing, and restocking all dishes, silverware, and glassware
• Properly washing pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils
• Returning dishes and utensils to appropriate storage areas
• Breaking down kitchen for clean up
• Ensure all sanitary and safety standards are met
