Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. in Encinitas, CA, is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will ensure cleanliness of kitchen equipment, wash and sanitize dishes, and help maintain a safe dining environment for residents.

The role requires passing health screens, background checks, and a current first aid certificate or obtain within 30 days. We offer competitive pay, benefits after 30 days, and opportunities to train and grow with a caring team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Prioritize sanitation and safety standards in a kitchen setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of major kitchen equipment and for washing, sanitizing, drying, and storing china, glass, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Transporting all dishes to the kitchen following meal preparation and mealtimes.
• Properly clearing, washing, sanitizing, and restocking all dishes, silverware, and glassware.
• Properly washing pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils.
• Returning dishes and utensils to appropriate storage areas.
• Breaking down kitchen for clean up.
• Ensure all sanitary and safety standards are met.
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community.
• Must pass all health screens such as Physical, TB, Drug test.
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
