Job summary

Burke Mountain Resort in Vermont is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to support our food & beverage operations in a fast-paced kitchen. You will help keep dishes clean and available for service while supporting the culinary team.

The role involves washing by hand or machine, maintaining sanitation, and assisting with general kitchen tasks to ensure smooth service at Burke Mountain Resort.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
• Basic cleaning and sanitation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, rinse, and wash dishes by hand or using dishwashing equipment throughout service.
• Clean pots, pans, trays, and kitchen utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, stairwells, worktables, refrigerators, and prep areas.
• Assist with trash, recycling, and compost removal at the end of service.
• Clean and sanitize garbage cans and waste areas.
• Polish silverware using appropriate equipment and methods.
• Transport dishes, supplies, and equipment between kitchen and service areas.
• Support team with maintaining walkways and service areas at Tamarack Lodge.
• Assist with additional tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
