Job summary

Makeready LLC is seeking a dishwashing/kitchen support role to maintain a clean and organized back-of-house area. You will load dishwashers, wash items by hand when needed, and help keep dishes, glasses, and utensils ready during busy periods.

The role emphasizes efficient multitasking, safe handling of equipment, and adherence to cleanliness standards within a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Must maintain sanitized and well-maintained equipment and facilities.
• Keep kitchen and back-of-house organized and clean.
• Assist with food preparation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload dishwashing machines and wash items by hand as required.

This individual is a crucial part of the kitchen. This person knows that a successful culinary experience can only be created with sanitized and well-maintained equipment and facilities. Their primary role is to maintain a clean kitchen, properly organize the restaurant and back of house area, and assists with the preparation of food as need.

Requested Tasks

• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china)
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment accordingly
• Ensure there are enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensil, especially during peak hours
• Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
