Job summary

The Junto Hotel in Columbus, OH is seeking a dedicated kitchen support role focused on sanitation and organization. You will keep the kitchen clean, organize the back-of-house, and assist with food preparation as needed to ensure a smooth service.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading dishwashers, hand-washing items, storing clean dishes, maintaining sufficient stock during peak hours, and reporting any machine issues. This role values efficiency, multitasking and a team-first attitude.

• Load and unload dishwashing machines.
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate China).
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment accordingly.
• Ensure there are enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours.
• Check washing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues.

This individual is a crucial part of the kitchen. This person knows that a successful culinary experience can only be created with sanitized and well-maintained equipment and facilities. Their primary role is to maintain a clean kitchen, properly organize the restaurant and back of house area, and assists with the preparation of food as need.

Requested Tasks:

• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate China)
