The Alamo Kitchen Crew, including line cooks and dishwashers, are the heartbeat of our theaters. A successful Dishwasher ensures the kitchen runs smoothly—from prepping stations to maintaining cleanliness. Our Dish crew supports the team by providing the necessary tools, ensuring safety and health standards are met, making them true superheroes in our kitchens.

As team-oriented contributors, our Kitchen Crew members strive to deliver excellent service daily, understanding their roles within the larger team to provide guests with an exceptional culinary experience.

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Uphold standards of behavior as defined by our Core Values, Code of Conduct, and Operational Guidelines.
• Maintain the highest safety standards and follow all protocols to keep teams and guests healthy. Be knowledgeable about all Alamo policies and procedures.
• Clean, prep, organize, and maintain the kitchen and dishwashing areas as assigned.
• Ensure all dishes, cutlery, and glassware are cleaned and sanitized efficiently to support the flow of food and drinks.
• Use tools such as measuring cups/spoons, scales, and other equipment as per Alamo kitchen protocols.
• Follow cleaning schedules, prep lists, station stocking guides, and other kitchen systems to control food waste, production, and quality.
• Communicate needs, concerns, and important points regularly with teammates and managers.
• Support the delivery of food and beverage orders as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ years of experience in a high-volume food production environment.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Schedule flexibility including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Active food handler certification as per state requirements.
• Being a cinephile is a plus!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with equipment like ovens, stoves, dishwashers, slicers, fryers, steamers, mixers, and knives. Expect exposure to heat, steam, noise, and cleaning solutions.
• Operate in a busy and sometimes loud environment with caution.
