Job summary

Paris Baguette Gold Coast in Chicago is seeking a dependable dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and food prep equipment, while supporting the kitchen team during peak times.

You will hand-wash, sanitize, stock supplies, and keep areas orderly, including restrooms during shifts, following SOPs. Prior restaurant experience is a plus, but reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Willingness to perform dishwashing and cleaning duties.
• Basic understanding of sanitation practices.
• Ability to stock and organize kitchen supplies.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans by hand.
• Sanitize guest trays and tongs and replenish designated areas.
• Store clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment properly.
• Maintain clean and orderly kitchen work areas and utensils.
• Stock utensils and product in serving stations and display cases.
• Sort and remove trash and transfer supplies between areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans by hand.
• Sanitize guest trays and tongs, replenish in designated areas.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Stock supplies, such as utensils in serving stations.
• Stock product in the display case.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using a push cart.
• Clean, sweep/mop all food and beverage areas.
• Maintain guest restrooms cleanliness through shift.
• Complete daily tasks per Dishwashers Standard Operating Procedures.
• Other related duties as assigned.
