Job summary

Eskaton is seeking team members for its dining services within a nonprofit aging-advocacy environment. You will assist with meal setup and breakdown, wash dishes, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen according to policy. You will support supervisors and help ensure resident satisfaction through attentive service.

Starting pay ranges from $17.40 per hour to $20.96 per hour. Eskaton offers competitive pay, a 401K matching program, comprehensive benefits, and a welcoming, inclusive workplace

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduation or equivalent GED preferred.
• Previous experience in restaurant or food service establishment preferred.
• Understands the philosophy of quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the set up and break down of meals.
• Wash dishes and maintain ware washing logs; keep the dish machine clean.
• Assist supervisor/manager/director in assigned tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of the department per cleaning schedule.
• Report damage or problems to supervisor/maintenance.
• Follow safety guidelines and dress code; maintain professional appearance.

Essential Job Functions

Starting pay ranges from $17.40 per hour - $20.96 per hour. Factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, job-related skills, internal equity, and market considerations may influence base pay.

Qualifications

Education:High school graduation or equivalent G.E.D., preferred.

Training And Experience

Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service establishment preferred.

Knowledge And Abilities

Understands the philosophy of quality customer service and customer satisfaction.

Medium Work

Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
