Job summary

Taher, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Dishwasher for daytime hours with no nights or weekends. You will wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, sweep and mop floors, and help keep tables and areas clean while following safety rules.

The role offers guaranteed hours, competitive pay at $15.00 per hour, uniforms and PPE provided, free daily lunch, and opportunities for training and advancement within our growing kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Self-starter that can work independently.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Wash and store dishes, pots, pans, and utensils by hand or in dish machine.
• Sweep and mop floors to maintain a clean dining area.
• Wash tables, walls, coolers, and trash receptacles as needed.
• Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
• Move supplies between storage and work areas; maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Be on time and reliable.
• Maintain assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition.

Essential Functions

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
• Sweep and mop floors
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Maintain clean work environment
• Assists other team members as needed
• Be on time
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
• Maitain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
