Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a dishwasher/utility worker in Barrington, IL for AM or PM shifts. The position offers guaranteed hours, a free daily meal, uniforms and PPE, and opportunities for advancement.

Hourly rate starts at $16.50 with a pay range of $16.50–$17.00 per hour. Flexibility and reliability are valued as paramount traits. Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, and assisting the team.

Qualifications

• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work in standing position for long periods.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Self-starter that can work independently.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils by hand or dish machine.
• Sweep and mop floors to maintain clean kitchen areas.
• Wash tables, walls, coolers, and trash receptacles as required.
• Transport trash to designated areas following safety procedures.
• Move supplies between storage and work areas; maintain a clean workstation.
• Assist team members as needed and be on time.
• Maintain personal hygiene and comply with dress code.

Job description

We are looking for a dishwasher/utility worker for either AM or PM shifts. Flexible schedule and hours. Free meal per shift. Hourly rate starts at $16.50

Essential Functions:

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
• Sweep and mop floors
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Maintain clean work environment
• Assists other team members as needed
• Be on time
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
• Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
