The Lodge at Blue Ridge, part of Phoenix Senior Living, seeks a dedicated Dishwasher to join our dining services team in the Blue Ridge area. This full-time role involves cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking dishware for Dining Room and Bistro operations, with shift expectations from Monday to Friday and every other weekend.

Responsibilities include operating dish machines, maintaining wash areas, and assisting with general cleaning and storage in accordance with sanitary procedures.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year related experience.
• Ability to stand long periods and multitask.

Responsabilidades

• Wash ware and maintain dish/pot washing area.
• Operate dish machine(s) following Food Safety Standards.
• Wash and sanitize all dishes, china, silverware, glassware, utensils and cookware.
• Set up and maintain pot and pan sink per Food Safety Standards.
• Clean large and small production equipment as directed (stoves, ovens, fryers, microwaves, mixers, slicers).

Reporting

The Dishwasher reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director.

PURPOSE

The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as but not limited to dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food and supplies. Responsible for janitorial duties in various dining services areas such as Dining Room, Bistro and other areas associated as a Dining Activity. Responsible for handling all foods, storage and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning and preparation.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

• Ware Washing
• Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the dish and pot washing area
• Operates dish machine(s) according to Food Safety Standards
• Operates dishwashing to properly wash and sanitize all dishes and china, silverware, glassware, utensils and cookware
• Responsible for the set up and maintenance of the pot and pan sink according to Food Safety Standards
• Production Equipment Washing

Production Equipment Washing

• Clean large and small production equipment as directed such as but not limited to:
• Stoves
• Ovens
• Fryers
• Microwaves
• Mixers
• Slicers
• Refrigerator
• Freezers
• Work tables
• Prep sinks
• Hoods and ventilation screens

Education/Experience/Licensure- Certification

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required
• One (1) year job related experience
