Job summary

IslandWood on Bainbridge Island, WA, is seeking a part-time dishwasher to support kitchen and service staff, helping deliver events for the community and guests from around the world.

The position offers 4, 6 or 8 hour shifts with a flexible schedule and pays $21.07/hr. Sick & Safe leave is available; candidates must obtain a Food Handler's Permit and pass a post-offer safety screening.

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware, Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.

• Clean large and small kitchen equipment including major and small appliances.
• Report damage or problems promptly to Supervisor on duty.

Benefit PackageThis position is eligible to receive Sick & Safe leave with a maximum annual accrual of40 hours.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware, Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
• Bus tables and help to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and order in the kitchen and storeroom.
• Clean large and small kitchen equipment including major and small appliances.
• Report damage or problems promptly to Supervisor on duty.

• Must be able to obtain a proper permit to serve food and beverages (Food Handlers Permit)

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended time (duration of shift)
