St. David's South Austin Medical Center is seeking a Dishwasher to support patient meals and dining operations. You will wash and sanitize dishes, stock areas, and help prepare the dining environment for service, with attention to food safety and sanitation standards.
No prior experience is required, but a Food Handlers Permit is required within 7 days of hire. The role includes benefits within the St. David's HealthCare system and opportunities to grow within the hospital group.

Dispose of trash and garbage according to standards and procedures. Wash and sanitize dishes & cooking utensils, according to standards. Assemble / disassemble dish machine and turbo wash, clean and de-lime according to procedures & standards. Bus and clean tables in dining room in down time, particularly at lunch time. Stock, store, label and deliver food items in a timely manner to designated areas. Prepare work area for next service period. Learn and follow established standards for food safety and sanitation according to HACCP. Learn unit locations in hospital to deliver trays and pick up same. Ensures all duties are completed in a productive manner. Ensures customer needs are met in a timely manner. Is positive and helpful. Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor/Managers.
