Job summary

Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill is hiring a dishwasher to support a fast-paced, scratch kitchen in Annapolis. You will ensure proper dish cleaning and maintain a spotless work area, with open and closing duties handled daily.

Experience with kitchen equipment and a commitment to sanitation are important, as is the ability to work with the team to meet high standards of food presentation and service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age to operate kitchen equipment.
• 1 yr. previous kitchen / culinary / chef experience on a broiler is preferred, but not required.
• Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including but not limited to knives, slicer, mixer, stoves, and ovens required.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Execute proper dish cleaning while maintaining a clean station and workspace.
• Follow sanitation protocols and maintain spotless kitchenware.
• Assist with opening duties and closing cleaning tasks.
• Coordinate with team and management to support smooth kitchen operations.

Job Description: Our restaurants operate professional, fast-paced, scratch kitchens. We hire dishwashers who understand high expectations for food presentation and execution on spotless clean kitchenware. Our restaurants typically include an open-kitchen layout with visibility from the dining room. Coordination of designated positions requires strong communication and teamwork with other employees, including all other team members and all members of management. This position is responsible for the execution of proper dish cleaning while maintaining a clean station and workspace. Proper sanitation protocols must be followed.
