Job summary

Remington Hospitality in Anchorage, AK is seeking a diligent dishwasher to support our kitchen team. You will operate and maintain the dish machine, wash glasses and dishes, and ensure all wares are cleaned to exacting standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning pots and pans in the designated area, keeping the kitchen tidy, and handling waste with proper sanitation. You may assist with plating banquet events as needed while following MSDS and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Use established guidelines to correctly utilize and maintain the dish machine.
• Wash glasses and dishes in standard dish rack.
• Wash pots and pans in the pot washer's area.
• Keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times; sweep spills and pick up broken glass/dishes.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans; spray and sanitize after each use and replace bags.
• Follow all MSDS protocols and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties in other areas of Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.

• Ensure that all cleaning is performed that is required to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times; this includes sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping up any spills.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans. Make sure they are sprayed and sanitized after each use. Place new trash bags in the container after each cleaning.
• Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols, as well as Safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties in other areas of Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.
