Job summary

Remington Hospitality in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking to fill a kitchen support role. The operative will follow established guidelines to operate and maintain the dish machine and to wash glasses and dishes in the standard dish rack.

Pots and pans are washed only in the pot washer's area, while the kitchen must be kept neat, including sweeping up broken glass and mopping spills. Additional duties include emptying trash cans with sanitation after each use, adhering to MSDS protocols and safety

Responsibilities

• Use established guidelines to correctly utilize and maintain the dish machine.
• Wash glasses and dishes in standard dish rack.
• Wash pots and pans only in the pot washer's area.
• Ensure that all cleaning is performed to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times; sweep up broken glass/dishes and mop up spills.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans; spray and sanitize after each use; place new trash bags in the container after each cleaning.
• Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols, as well as Safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties in other areas of Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.
