Indiana University Bloomington is seeking a Kitchen Utility Attendant to support residential dining operations in Bloomington, IN. You will perform sanitation tasks, ware-washing, and basic custodial duties in a fast-paced dining environment.

The role requires high school level knowledge, strong communication, time management, and a ServSafe certification within 180 days of hire. The schedule is 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with alternating weekends, at $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• General knowledge at the high school level is required.
• ServSafe food safety certification is required within 180 days from date of hire.
• Experience in food service or custodial work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general kitchen sanitation duties and supervise temporary staff.
• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment and facilities to spec.
• WASH dishes, pots, pans and food prep equipment; keep areas clean and safe.
• Assist with waste management and inventory transfers between storage and work areas.
• Set up and arrange service areas and customer spaces; support team with allergies and dietary needs.
