Indiana University Dining and Hospitality is seeking a Kitchen Utility Attendant in Bloomington to perform custodial tasks, ware-washing, and dishwashing in a fast-paced dining operation. You will help maintain cleanliness standards and support food service activities in IU dining halls.
Qualifications include high school knowledge, with ServSafe certification preferred within 180 days. Prior related experience is a plus and strong teamwork is essential.

Residential dining staff work closely with the teams in retail andIMU dining to ensure consistent procurement of products that matchstudent preferences and dietary needs.
The Kitchen Utility Attendants do a combination of traditionalcustodial work as well as ware-washing and dishwashing tasks.
This role regularly requires the ability to effectivelycommunicate. This role frequently requires the ability to handleequipment. This role frequently requires the ability to remainstationary and ascend/descend ladders/stairs. This role frequentlyrequires the ability to move objects weighing 20 to 50 pounds. Therole requires the ability to detect items in close proximity aswell as far away; discern between colors; detect objects inperipheral space of self; discern items in detail; and to have gooddepth perception. This role works indoors around high temperaturesand loud noises. This role involves handling meat and plant-basedfood products as well as a variety of ingredients that may includesome or all of the top 9 allergens during the course of cleaningand ware-washing tasks. The person in this role must be abletoperform the essential functions with or without anaccommodation.

$15.00 per hour.
Dining and Hospitality is currently paying a shift premium of $1.50per hour on top of the regular hourly rate for hours worked between2 PM and 12 AM, provided at least 6 hours are worked between thosetimes
2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Monday-Friday with alternating weekends
Management reserves the right to adjust work hours to accommodateneed, special meals and events.
