Hy-Vee is seeking a Dishroom Clerk to keep the kitchen area clean and organized, ensuring safe food handling and a sanitary workspace. You will work with the team to deliver great food and service to every customer, maintaining hygiene and following Hy-Vee policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and making every interaction a positive one
• Wash department equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, and pans thoroughly and consistently
• Handle food safely and ensure the work area is always clean and neat
• Remove trash in a timely manner and take department garbage to the compactor or designated area
• Answer the telephone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service to customers who call
• Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed and take on special projects as assigned
• Maintain strict adherence to personal hygiene, dress standards, and all Hy-Vee policies and store guidelines
• Report to work when scheduled and on time
