Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe is seeking a dependable team member to wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. You’ll help keep the dish room and all equipment clean and organized, loading and unloading the dish machine as needed.

No restaurant experience is required, and you’ll work in a fast-paced brunch environment that values reliability and teamwork. We offer benefits and growth opportunities as part of our team.

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• No restaurant experience needed
• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized – load, run, and unload dish machine
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately and maintain all safety standards
• Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50lbs frequently
