Job summary

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group in Metairie, LA, is seeking a dishwashing associate to support our all-day brunch restaurants Ruby Slipper and Ruby Sunshine. You will help maintain cleanliness and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

No restaurant experience is required. You must be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment, stand for long periods, and safely lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized – load, run, and unload dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately and maintain all safety standards.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop.
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50lbs frequently.
