Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe in Franklin, TN is seeking a kitchen support team member to wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. You will keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized, supporting a busy brunch-focused concept.

No restaurant experience is required, and you can work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for extended periods. The role requires standing for long shifts and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

• No restaurant experience needed
• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized – load, run, and unload dish machine
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately and maintain all safety standards
• Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50lbs frequently
