Job summary

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group, based in Louisiana, is seeking a Kitchen Crew member focused on dishwashing and kitchen cleanliness. You will wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, and keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.

This role is part of the Ruby Krewe in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Ruby Krewe member, you’ll enjoy days-only shifts, medical and dental benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.
• Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment.
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized – load, run, and unload dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately and maintain all safety standards.

• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized – load, run, and unload dish machine
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately and maintain all safety standards
• Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50lbs frequently
