Job summary

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group is hiring a friendly, reliable dishwasher to join the Ruby Krewe in Columbia, SC. You’ll wash, load, and unload dishware and keep the dish room clean and organized in a fast-paced brunch environment.

No restaurant experience is required, and you’ll work days with opportunities for growth and paid time off. Benefits include medical and dental coverage and the chance to advance with our expanding brand.

Qualifications

• No restaurant experience required.
• Able to work in a hot, wet, loud environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Stand for long periods (up to 10 hours).
• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the dish area.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment.
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.
• Load, run, and unload the dish machine.
• Report any functional or mechanical problems and maintain safety standards.

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• No restaurant experience needed
• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized – load, run, and unload dish machine
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately and maintain all safety standards
• Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50lbs frequently
