Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa, part of Schulte Hospitality Group, is seeking a dependable Dish Steward to join our culinary team. You will clean and sanitize all dishes, maintain the dish area, and support broader kitchen tasks in a fast-paced hotel setting.

The role requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team. Previous dishwashing or similar experience is preferred; education at high school level is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots.
• Maintains dish room and dish machine.
• Remains of restocks all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans.
• Removes all garbage.
• Breaks down, cleans and sanitizes the dish machine at the end of the shift.
• Keeps dish and other storage areas clean and organized.
• Assists with cleaning other areas of restaurant as requested.
• Performs various other duties as assigned.
