Job summary

Ruth’s Chris Steak House is seeking a Dishwashing/Steward to assist in set-up, operation, and clean-up of both interior and exterior areas. You will wash, store, and stock all dishware and small wares, ensure the dish machine runs correctly, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the shift.

The role requires adherence to safety guidelines, ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and move for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• English language proficiency required.
• Position requires nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in set-up, operation and clean-up of the restaurant interior and exterior.
• Wash, store and stock plateware, glassware, utensils and smallwares.
• Clean and maintain dishwashing machine and area, ensuring sanitation.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to Chef or Manager.
• Complete closing duties and support other BOH positions as needed.
• Checkout with the MOD before leaving.
