Job summary

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse at Walnut Creek is seeking a diligent dishwashing team member. You will assist in set-up, operation and cleanup of both interior and exterior areas, wash and stock dishware, and ensure the dishwashing machine remains clean and operational.

You will support front and back of house staff, help maintain sanitary conditions, and participate in end-of-shift closing duties to help the kitchen finish strong.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months general labor or restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Effective communication in English with supervisors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in set-up, operation and cleanup of interior and exterior restaurant areas.
• Washes, stores and stocks dishware, glassware, utensils, cups, bowls, pots and pans.
• Ensure dishwashing machine is clean, functioning and inspected regularly.
• Maintain clean and sanitary dish room, floors and trash areas.
• Assist with closing duties and support kitchen personnel to finish shift tasks.
