Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is seeking a Dish Machine Operator to join our back-of-house team in a fast-paced restaurant setting. You will ensure cleanliness, proper sanitation, and organization so the kitchen can operate at its best.

You’ll support the kitchen by maintaining the dish area, operating dish machines, and assisting with prep tasks as needed. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth, with extensive training and benefits for eligible team members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dish and sanitation area.
• Operate the dish machine efficiently while maintaining proper water temperatures and chemical levels.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes following food safety standards.
• Stack and rinse dishware for optimal cleaning results.
• Drain, clean, and refill dish tanks throughout the shift to maintain standards.
• Restock clean wares to proper locations to support kitchen flow.
• Remove trash, break down boxes, and maintain clean disposal areas.
• Maintain dumpster area cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete prep tasks and support kitchen team members as needed.
• Follow all opening, closing, and cleaning checklists.
• Keep your station clean, organized, and ready for service at all times.
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment.
