Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is seeking a reliable Dish Machine Operator to join our Back of House team. You will maintain a clean, safe dish area, operate the dish machine, and ensure sanitation standards throughout each shift.

Responsibilities include washing, stacking, restocking, and assisting the kitchen as needed. This role offers a fast-paced, team-driven environment with opportunities for growth and training. Apply in person if you prefer.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dish and sanitation area.
• Operate the dish machine efficiently while maintaining proper water temperatures and chemical levels.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes following food safety standards.
• Stack and rinse dishware for optimal cleaning results.
• Drain, clean, and refill dish tanks throughout the shift to maintain standards.
• Restock clean wares to proper locations to support kitchen flow.
• Remove trash, break down boxes, and maintain clean disposal areas.
• Maintain dumpster area cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete prep tasks and support kitchen team members as needed.
• Follow all opening, closing, and cleaning checklists.
• Keep your station clean, organized, and ready for service at all times.
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment.
