Job summary

The Harwood House at Quinn's Hot Springs Resort is expanding our team in the back-of-house! We are seeking candidates to fill one, possibly two, dish machine operator (dishwasher) positions. Wage is $16 per hour + tips to start, with wage review in 6 months.

Job description

The Harwood House at Quinn's Hot Springs Resort is expanding our team in the back-of-house! We are seeking candidates to fill one, possibly two, dish machine operator (dishwasher) positions. Candidates must have a positive attitude, have exceptional attention to detail, have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, and enjoy working with others.

Candidates must be able to work all 5 shifts.

We currently do have employee housing available if needed. Please note, there are no pets allowed in employee housing and our current availability consists of single units only (not suitable for couples or families).

The DMO is responsible for ensuring that all dishes are cleaned and sanitized by:

• scraping dishes
• loading dish machine
• hand washing larger dish items
• polishing silverware
• polishing glassware
• putting dishes away

This position requires candidates to:

• work in the "dish-pit" the majority of the time
• reach above your head and lift racks of glassware
• lift up to 30 lbs unassisted
• stand on your feet for entire shift
• work in warm kitchen area
  
• dish area is typically wet and slippery

Wage is $16 per hour + TIPS to start, wage review in 6 months.
