Job summary

Groovin' Gourmets, the catering division of Trolley Hospitality Companies, in Richmond, VA, seeks a dedicated dishwasher to keep the kitchen clean and running smoothly. You will empty trash, run the dishwasher, clean pots and surfaces, and assist the team as needed in a fast-paced environment.

We offer full-time hours with a schedule Thursday through Monday, starting around 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with $15 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and reliability are essential.
• Able to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Commitment to following food safety procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and maintain clean work areas.
• Operate the commercial dishwasher and related equipment.
• Scrub and wipe down pots and surfaces to keep kitchen clean.
• Provide additional support to kitchen staff as needed.

What You Will Be Doing

• Empty trash bins, collect and remove waste from the floor and work surfaces, separate recyclables and properly dispose of grease.
• Run the commercial grade dishwasher, including using the sink sprayer, a lever-operated washing unit and a drying station.
• Manually clean a variety of surfaces, including scrubbing debris off pots and wiping down surfaces.
• Additional support kitchen staff, as needed.
