Job summary

Allied Universal® Compliance and Investigation Services is seeking a Surveillance Investigator in Akron, Ohio to discreetly observe claimants and document activities for insurance claims. This role requires vigilance, integrity, and the ability to work independently in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities include undercover and stationary surveillance, reporting observations in MS Word, and coordinating with investigators while maintaining confidentiality and legal compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Post offer, must complete Allied Universal Investigations' training/orientation.
• Minimum of one year of verifiable investigative work experience.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to type reports in MS Word with few errors.
• Proficient with laptop computers, video cameras and cell phones.
• Ability to work independently and stay focused under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across various coverages.
• Utilize surveillance techniques to monitor subjects covertly.
• Document and report observations clearly and concisely.
• Collaborate with investigators and law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal/ethical standards.
