Allied Universal® Compliance and Investigation Services is seeking a Surveillance Investigator in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on discreet mobile and stationary surveillance to support insurance claims.

Requirements include a Private Investigator’s license, valid driver’s license, and 1+ year of investigative experience. The position offers hourly pay and benefits, with opportunities to advance in a national investigations network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Post offer, must complete Allied Universal Investigations training/orientation course.
• Minimum of one year verifiable work experience, preferably in investigations or protective service.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to type reports in Microsoft Word with minimal errors.
• Proficient in using laptop computers, video cameras and cell phones.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to manage stressful situations with composure and professionalism.

• Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across various coverage types.
• Utilize surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly.
• Document and report observations and information clearly.
• Collaborate with investigators and law enforcement as needed.
