Allied Universal Compliance and Investigation Services is hiring a Surveillance Investigator to perform discreet surveillance of claimants to support insurance claims. The role requires a private investigator’s license and a valid driver’s license with driving experience.

The job involves independent investigations, covert surveillance, and clear reporting across various claim types, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality and ethical conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Post offer, must complete Allied Universal Investigations training.
• Minimum of one year of verifiable work experience, preferably in investigations or protective service.
• Flexible to work varied hours including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to type reports in Word with minimal errors.
• Proficient with laptops, video cameras and cell phones.
• Capable of maintaining focus and multitasking in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations professionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across coverage types.
• Use surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly.
• Document observations and report findings clearly.
• Coordinate with other investigators and law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal/ethical standards.
