Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Technical Product Manager, Chemistry IT Systems, to shape enterprise-wide discovery informatics platforms in Beerse, Belgium or Spring House, PA. You will translate scientific needs into scalable tech capabilities and roadmaps, enabling AI-augmented discovery workflows across D-M-T cycles.

The role blends data governance, platform design, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate lead discovery and optimization across multi-modality research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in chemistry or relevant field; data science ok.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• 5+ years in pharmaceutical R&D molecular discovery.
• Experience partnering with scientific stakeholders to define requirements.
• Strong data management and informatics experience.
• KNIME or Pipeline Pilot experience.
• Chemistry software (Schrödinger, BIOVIA, Revvity, OpenEye, ChemAxon).
• Open-source chemin-format tools like RDKit or Oligokit.
• Data visualization with Spotfire.
• Knowledge of data warehouses and ETL processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery informatics strategy and delivery globally.
• Define and champion data-driven and scientific IT approaches.
• Modernize chemistry-centric decision-making with digital capabilities.
• Oversee portfolio strategy and measure project impact.
• Guide AI and data enablement for molecular discovery.
