Job summary

BioDot Inc., a world leader in diagnostic manufacturing automation, is seeking a Sales Manager, Discovery to drive revenue growth with direct field sales on the West Coast. You will win new business, penetrate underdeveloped accounts, and position BioDot’s Discovery products to pharmabiotech, academic, and government researchers.

The role is hands-on, customer-facing, and results-driven, requiring a proven ability to manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing—while collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred but not required).
• 3-7+ years of direct sales experience in life sciences (reagents, instruments, diagnostics, services).
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and selling into scientific, technical, or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Own new customer acquisition, targeting net-new labs and research groups.
• Achieve or exceed revenue targets through prospecting, pipeline management, and closing.
• Translate complex scientific concepts into customer-relevant benefits and business value.
