Clora is partnering with a biotech to discover and develop radioligand therapy candidates for solid tumors. This remote, consulting role focuses on advancing tumor-targeting biodistribution and retention while minimizing normal tissue exposure.

You will lead in vitro and in vivo studies, work with radiochemistry teams, and guide IND-enabling pharmacology studies. The ideal candidate has a PhD or MS in cancer biology or related field with 5+ years in biotech/pharma, and strong expertise in

• PhD or MS in cancer biology, pharmacology, molecular biology, or related field with at least 5+ industry experience
• Strong background in antibody biology, tumor models, and preclinical oncology pharmacology
• Experience with radiopharmaceuticals, quantitative biodistribution, SPECT/PET imaging, or radio-labeled biologics is strongly preferred

ABOUT

Clora has partnered with a preclinical-stage oncology biotech that is developing antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) and radioligand therapies for the treatment of solid tumors. They are seeking a discovery biologist to advance our tumor-selective radioligand therapy program based on the client's proprietary platform. The role will focus on optimizing tumor targeting, biodistribution, and retention while minimizing normal-tissue exposure.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and oversee in vitro and in vivo studies evaluating RLT candidate binding, internalization, tumor uptake, and retention.
• Characterize the impact of antibody affinity, binding kinetics, and Fc engineering on tumor targeting and systemic clearance.
• Analyze biodistribution, imaging, and tissue radioactivity data to support lead optimization and candidate selection.
• Coordinate radiolabeling, imaging, and pharmacology studies with external CROs and radiochemistry collaborators.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• PhD or MS in cancer biology, pharmacology, molecular biology, or related field with at least 5+ industry experience within Biotech/Biopharma/Pharma organization(s)
• Strong background in antibody biology, tumor models, and preclinical oncology pharmacology.
• Experience with radiopharmaceuticals, quantitative biodistribution, SPECT/PET imaging, or radio-labeled biologics is strongly preferred.
