Job summary

Qualifications

• Six years of human resources experience or equivalent in any field.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of human resources experience.
• Advanced degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, industrial and organizational psychology, organizational behavior, or a Juris Doctorate plus two years of human resources experience.
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR may substitute for up to one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support throughout the hospital on highly complex and confidential issues.
• Serve as subject matter expert for discipline administration; develop and implement discipline policies and procedures.
• Review information when an Internal Review Committee substantiates abuse/neglect findings and gather statements.
• Prepare pre-deprivation letters and coordinate with LDH Legal; issue pre-deprivation letters.
• Issue final discipline letters and assist Legal in Civil Service reviews.
• Investigate workplace violence and sexual harassment; prepare reports and make recommendations.
