Ethos Veterinary Health in Malvern, PA, seeks a Discharge Veterinary Nurse to ensure smooth transitions from hospital to home care. You’ll join a large team of board-certified veterinarians in a fast-paced, 24/7 hospital setting.

Responsibilities include preparing patients for discharge, communicating medical procedures to clients, filling medications, administering meds, documenting in medical records, and supporting pharmacy operations. Licensure incentives apply.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of veterinary experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong calculation and dosing skills.
• On-call and holiday/weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for discharge, including IV catheter removal and paperwork.
• Explain procedures and pharmacology to clients; demonstrate home care tasks.
• Fill and administer medications through all routes.
• Document in the patient’s medical record and handle client communications.
• Educate owners on home care and preventative health.
