Job summary

IHA is seeking a Registered Nurse to focus on discharge planning within the discharge RN space, with unit coverage as needed. You will facilitate discharge needs and ensure follow-through for patients nearing readiness, supporting an interdisciplinary care team.

The role features a 72-hr per pay period rotating shift, every other weekend and rotating holidays per the collective bargaining agreement. Candidates must maintain Michigan RN licensure and ACLS/BLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.
• For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care.
• A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.
