Job summary

Halma is seeking a Disc Fabricator to support the production of rupture disc products. You will determine material thickness, prepare disks, operate presses and ovens, and ensure accuracy of lot data and timely shipments.

The role requires reading and interpreting safety manuals, performing measurements, and maintaining strict adherence to OE procedures and work orders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience and quality control exposure preferred.
• Basic math and measurement skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Determine the required thickness of disk material using established formulas and procedures.
• Cut materials using cutting tables or square shears.
• Set up the proper die in hydraulic or air press.
• Blank and form material while conducting burst testing.
• Adjust burst pressure through annealing or stress-relieving in heat treat ovens.
• Record pertinent lot card data and attach tags to disk assemblies.
• Operate presses, ovens, shears, punches and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure shipments meet specifications and are dispatched on time.
