Job summary

Oklahoma Safety Equipment Company, Inc. is seeking a Disc Fabricator to manufacture rupture disc products per OE procedures, lot cards, drawings, and work orders.

You will determine material thickness, cut and form parts, and set up presses while ensuring accuracy and on-time deliverables. The role requires attention to detail, ability to read safety documentation, and experience with ERP systems (SAP/Epicor/Oracle/D365).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with SAP, Epicor, Oracle or D365 preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules, drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Determine disk material thickness using established formulas.
• Cut materials using cutting tables or square shears.
• Set up the proper die in hydraulic or air press.
• Blank and form material while conducting burst testing.
• Adjust burst pressure through annealing or stress relieving in heat treat ovens.
• Perform temperature testing if required.
• Record lot card data, stamp disk name tags, and attach them to the disk assembly.
• Operate air and hydraulic presses, ovens, power and hand shears, nibblers, punches, layout equipment and related tools.
• Ensure shipments meet specifications and are dispatched on time.
• Notify supervisor of problems and develop work plans to maintain schedules.
• Inspect parts and implement corrections to exceed customer expectations.
• Follow OE Handbook & Safety Policies; reading and understanding safety docs.
• Apply basic math for measurements and conversions; data entry into ERP
• Data entry to ERP system for inventory transactions and clocking into jobs.
• Work under pressure and multitask to meet deadlines.
