Job summary

Halma plc is seeking a Disc Fabricator for the night shift to support the production of rupture disc products. You will follow OE procedures, review lot cards and drawings, and work to meet safety and quality standards.

You will set up presses, perform burst testing, and accurately record data in the ERP system while using SAP/Epicor/Oracle/D365. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Experience with ERP data entry and inventory transactions.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
Experience using SAP, Epicor, Oracle or D365 is preferred.

Responsibilities

Determine the required thickness of disk material using established formulas and procedures.
Cut materials using cutting tables or square shears.
Set up the proper die in hydraulic or air press.
Blank and form material while conducting burst testing.
Adjust burst pressure through annealing or stress relieving in heat treat ovens.
Perform temperature testing if required.
Accurately record pertinent lot card data and attach them to the disk assembly.
Operate air and hydraulic presses, ovens, power and hand shears, nibblers, punches, layout equipment and presses.
Ensure shipments meet specifications and are dispatched on time.
Notify supervisor of issues and develop work plans to maintain schedules.
Conduct checks and corrections to exceed customer expectations.
